When you call our main number or use the chat widget on this site, your initial enquiry may be handled by “Mira”, an automated reception assistant powered by Google Gemini. Mira can:
- Take routine appointment bookings.
- Verify whether your insurer is on our in-network panel and quote estimated cost-share.
- Provide standard first-aid information for dental emergencies (knocked-out tooth, severe bleeding).
- Route your enquiry to the right specialist.
Mira does not:
- Provide a diagnosis.
- Recommend a specific treatment.
- Access your existing clinical record.
- Confirm a final price for any procedure (this comes from the dentist after examination).
- Confirm the final amount your insurer will pay (this comes from the insurer’s adjudication).
Every booking, insurance lookup, and escalation Mira creates is reviewed by a human team member at the next working session. If at any point you would prefer to speak to a person, just say so — Mira will route you to our reception team.
Emergencies
For emergencies involving uncontrolled bleeding, suspected jaw fracture, facial swelling involving the eye or throat, or any breathing concern — go to the nearest A&E directly. Do not call Mira or use this site for time-critical emergencies.
